Rebellion is a five part serial drama about the birth of modern Ireland.The story is told from the perspectives of a group of fictional characters who live through the political events of the 1916 Easter Rising.。清朝末年，总督之子苏灿，一次在青楼遇到一个女人名依莲。为了追求依莲苏灿发誓要拿下天下第一，而这引起了反清金梅教吕步川的注意。因为苏灿会影响吕步川的计划，所以吕步川用计陷害苏灿一家，随后苏灿误打误撞进了另一分教火山教，在一世外高人的协助下，铲除了分教，老乞丐从中救下苏灿并传授其绝世武功。比武大会中苏灿救下无辜众人，却未预料到依莲牺牲，苏灿绝望中杀死了吕步川，却也因此隐匿江湖，再不出现。。
