Plebs follows three desperate young men from the suburbs...。描写河北梆子剧种及艺人解放前被摧残，解放后得到新生的故事。。1931年，九一八事变爆发之初，日军为战争需要，在东北地区疯狂掠夺矿产资源。爱国将领遗孤杨凯楠，阴错阳差地卷入了日本关东军阴谋夺取东北某地区金矿的阴谋中。国恨家仇，杨凯楠在中国共产党员陆先生等人的感召下，与多位爱国志士团结在一起，组建了一支抗日游击队。在她的指挥下，游击队与阴险毒辣的日本关东军特务头目石原及其属下，展开了一场艰苦而惨烈的斗争。在对敌战斗中，杨凯楠众人多次陷入绝境，又多次在共产党组织的帮助下化险为夷。最终，杨凯楠和她的战友战胜了强敌，保住了中国的金矿，她本人也在共产党人坚决抗日的决心和气魄感召之下入党，并率领部队加入到东北抗日联军的队伍之中，开始了新的征程。。
