The series revolves around sixteen strangers living in a house together with no communication with the outs...。香港少女青霞（周慧敏）的父亲是香港黑社会的大哥马六甲（郑则士），但她找的未婚夫却是新加坡反黑组警员阿汉（黎明），她与男友从新家坡回到香港，准备让男友与其父亲见面。不料马六甲对这桩婚事并不满意，青霞刚下飞机就被他的手下劫持，与阿汉失散。阿汉到处寻找青霞，求助于其在香港的好友杨义（陈勋奇），两人到处打听青霞的下落。阿汉偶遇性感女子蓉蓉（郭秀云），蓉蓉假装无家可归，被其缠上不能脱身，其实蓉蓉乃是马六甲派来离间汉与青霞之间感情的，青霞果然中计，误会阿汉与蓉蓉有私情，愤而离开阿汉，阿汉为了青霞对他的不信任深感愤怒，而此时马六甲的对头笑面虎因不知内情，派手下前来追杀阿汉……。一个小青年和人赌博，输掉一大笔钱，走投无路。兄弟跟他一样是不务正业，母亲已经白发苍苍，他该何去何从呢？。
