本片改编自真实事迹：当盟军在1945年春天反攻德国时，纳粹决定炸毁莱茵河上最后一座大桥，甚至不惜让自己的士兵失去退路。而盟军则需要这座桥来进攻德国腹地，围绕一座铁桥的激烈攻防战就此展开。。Anna is becoming lost in the loneliness of her own world when she discovers she can visit another, a house she has drawn herself and occupied by a young disabled boy. But as she discovers more of the links between her fantasy world and the mundane present, she is drawn only deeper into a dream...。
